Kathryn Vargas is Good at Being Very Helpful
My personal definition of help hinges upon doing what is asked not what the helper thinks is needed. Kathryn understands this and it defines her career. She works for the United Way in their children and youth area and sees the benefit of helping in both smaller and more substantial ways. We chatted about her work, the different services offer by the United Way how their programming adapts to need depending on the local need.
Regard Kathryn's talent, the proof is in the pudding really. She says very thoughtfully,
“If I wasn’t good at it, I don’t think people would continue to ask me for help.”
