She shared her story of speaking up when someone near to her was being neglected in an institutional setting. Rallying her fellows, they created changes that got the higher-ups to intervene. This action creates waves. Seen or unseen, speaking up institutes change.

Nate is Good at Being a Loveable Smartass

While hanging around the interview space, Nate was friendly but seemed shy at first. Opening up in the interview, he admitted that his wisecracking behavior served as his greatest asset and defense
mechanism.
After a while, his defenses came down and the warm side of Nate emerged. He shared his passion for being creative and strong love of pizza.

He detailed the process of putting together his tools, prepping the yard by finding and disposing of debris, and cleaning up afterwards with the same enthusiasm as one has describing any treasured hobby. Being productive outside appeared to be the biggest draw.

Most of his clients were the elderly and Steve misses hanging out with clients after finishing the job. As his clients were also his  neighbors, there was always time to catch up after a job and enjoy lemonade and chat.

Bill is Good at Arranging Flowers
Bill is Good at Arranging Flowers

Bill is good at flower arranging. As a child, he and his sisters used to fight enough that his mother decided to bring him along with her to her job at the flower store. There, he picked up plants and
followed her lead, crafting beautiful bouquets.

When the owner of the flower shop began to lose her sight, Bill became the go-to assistant, learning about the rule of threes, color theory, and the symbolism behind some of the flowers.

Even today he gardens in the space in front of DOM Care, excitedly planning what will go into the earth in their little space.
